Multimat Summit 12 Foam Mats are designed for use in extreme cold conditions fromhigh altitude mountaineering to polar expeditions.

Manufactured from premium quality tough Evazote polyolefin foam and lightweight Plastazote foam, this 12mm thick dual construction provides an insulating bottom layer and a tough top layerthat saves 100g in weight.

In extreme cold temperature locations such as the Himalayas and polar regions, you may need extra insulation for your sleeping system. Some adventurers lay two foam sleeping mats on top of each, but the usual practice is to take a foam sleeping mat and place a self inflating camping mat on top of it.

Please note: TheseSummit mats are dispatched already rolled, but they feature brass eyelets and strong lightweight webbing to allow you to pack them away as compact as possible when used.
